CPG Innovation Manager

Full time

Tarrytown, NY

Lead the charge in bringing our most exciting new products from prototype to full-scale commercial launch—translating 'what if we could scale deliciousness and nutrition?' into real-world market success while driving scrappy, passionate teams across marketing, sales, R&D, supply chain, and finance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Innovation Project Management

  • Lead commercialization of our CPG line from concept to shelf – you'll wrangle cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance to hit launch dates from concept to market
  • Guide products through our stage-gate process with feasibility assessments and business cases that tell the real story, not just what executives want to hear

Business Management

  • Monitor in-market performance and lead strategic pivots when performance needs improvement
  • Track innovation metrics that matter: new product performance, ROI, consumer adoption, and competitive dynamics
  • Develop accurate close-in and multi-year forecasts for new launches in partnership with sales, supply chain, and finance
  • Deliver weekly business updates to leadership with insights that inform decisions, not just status reports

Product Packaging

  • Manage packaging production timelines with vendors to ensure launch deadlines are met without compromising quality
  • Coordinate approval processes between creative teams and production partners to deliver print-ready files on schedule
  • Troubleshoot production issues and quality concerns quickly to maintain operational continuity
  • Champion sustainability best practices in product development and packaging decisions that align with our values

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Operations

  • Launch products on our DTC platform as the testing ground for Row 7 innovation before broader market rollout
  • Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations including inventory allocation, fulfillment coordination, and customer service escalations
  • Execute customer acquisition campaigns and track performance against KPIs that drive profitable growth
  • Implement retention strategies and gather customer feedback to inform future product iterations

Pipeline Strategy & Development

  • Partner with R&D and culinary teams to develop pipeline strategy for new categories and evaluate vegetable-forward prepared food concepts with real market potential
  • Create compelling brand narratives around new products that authentically align with Row 7's mission and "deliciousness" promise
  • Monitor emerging food trends, ingredient innovations, and consumer preferences to identify genuine market opportunities
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that accelerate innovation and support long-term portfolio growth
