SEASONAL warehouse Assistant

Part time


Newburgh, NY

Row 7 is hiring a Warehouse Assistant in a full-time, seasonal role. The Row 7 Warehouse Assistant is an integral part of the Row 7 team, supporting all aspects of the e-commerce fulfillment process and other seed warehouse operations.

Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager


LOCATION & HOURS

On-site, Newburgh, NY 

Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse & Fulfillment 

  • Support daily order fulfillment under the direction of the Warehouse and Fulfillment Manager, including packing and checking orders, and coordinating daily shipments through multiple e-commerce platforms
  • Coordinate seed packing and restocking
  • Complete regular seed and packaging inventory reporting
  • Assist in seed lot treatments as needed 
  • Assist with receiving incoming seed lots under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and Seed Systems Specialist
  • Support in-house germination testing as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
  • Other warehouse tasks as needed or assigned


Customer Support

  • Communicate with customers via email as needed to confirm order and shipping details
  • Assist with answering questions and inquiries via email in the event that the Customer Support Associate is unable             


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • General computer literacy, including G Suite
  • Working knowledge of warehouse operations, Airtable, Shopify, Shipstation, and Faire is a plus
  • Understanding of organic agriculture and general ecological principles preferred

Produce Sales Associate

Part time


Remote

This is a part-time role (25 hours/week) supporting the full sales team across retail, foodservice, online, and wholesale channels. You're the execution layer at the account level — processing orders accurately, keeping communication tight, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks during our highest-volume months.

THE WORK

PO Processing

  • Process purchase orders received via email and customer portals across all retail, foodservice, online, and wholesale accounts - note: Whole Foods order management is handled separately by another member of the team
  • Submit bids for online accounts (e.g., Misfits Market) and track responses through to order confirmation
  • Review pricing and SKU accuracy on each order
  • Confirm availability, load location, and ship dates with the supply chain team
  • Create and input sales orders into Aptean and send customer confirmations over email
  • Resolve order issues directly with customers — pricing discrepancies, date changes, quantity adjustments
  • Process rejections and credit documentation when orders are refused or returned, coordinating with supply chain and accounting teams, and communicating resolution to customers
  • Attend twice-weekly calls with supply chain team to ensure in-full, on-time order management

Sample Coordination

  • Submit sample requests and coordinate execution with the supply chain team
  • Communicate with customers on confirmation, tracking, and delivery
  • Input sample activity tracking tools; coordinate with growers as needed


WHO YOU ARE

  • A strong communicator — clear, timely, and reliable with customers and internal teams alike
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized — nothing slips through
  • Comfortable in Google Sheets and ERP systems — you actually enjoy a good spreadsheet and pick up new tools quickly
  • An executor — you like having a clear process and running it well
  • Familiarity with supply chain basics is a plus — understanding how orders move from farm to customer, troubleshooting fulfillment issues with confidence, and holding your own in conversations about availability, lead times, or logistics will set you up to hit the ground running


THE TEAM

You'll support the full sales team — one Director of Sales, two Produce Sales Managers, and a Sales Operations Associate. You report to the Director of Sales.

Customer Marketing Manager

Full time

Row 7 is seeking a Customer Marketing Manager to bridge the gap between our brand story and retail shelves. This is a hands-on, execution role for a team member who is energized by being in the store, collaborating with retailers, activating promotions, and ensuring every retail touchpoint reflects the quality and care we put into our products. The right candidate will be equally comfortable pulling together a retailer sell-in deck, optimizing paid media plans, and being on-site for store activations.

REPORTS TO: Row 7 President

LOCATION: Remote with up to 30% travel to retail partners

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Shopper Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and own the annual customer marketing strategy, identifying key moments, accounts, and shopper audiences to prioritize
  • Build retailer-specific marketing plans that ladder up to brand goals and align with each account's promotional and marketing calendar
  • Translate Row 7's brand positioning and product stories into compelling, shopper-relevant messaging for the retail environment
  • Bring a shopper mindset to internal conversations, advocating for how and why the shopper makes decisions at the shelf


Retail Marketing Programs & Activation

  • Develop and manage retailer co-marketing programs, including digital and print media, in-store signage, seasonal campaigns, and brand moments
  • Own the customer marketing budget and activation calendar, tracking spend against plan and reporting on program performance
  • Manage the asset and approval process with retail partners, ensuring programs go live on time and on brand
  • Measure program effectiveness using available data (syndicated data, retailer POS, retail media metrics) and translate results into actionable learnings


Retail Media & Digital Shelf

  • Lead Row 7's retail media strategy across key accounts and platforms (Instacart, retailer e-commerce, sponsored placements)
  • Ensure Row 7's digital shelf presence (images, copy, and content) is accurate, optimized, and consistent across all retail accounts
  • Monitor digital availability and surface content gaps or issues to the appropriate teams


Brand-to-Shelf Content & Assets

  • Develop the full suite of shopper-facing materials in collaboration with sales team: shelf signage, packaging callouts, seasonal POS, and on-shelf storytelling 
  • Ensure brand creative is adapted appropriately for retail contexts without losing what makes Row 7 distinctive
  • Build and maintain a library of current, on-brand retail assets that the sales team can deploy efficiently


Sales Partnership & Category Storytelling

  • Partner with the sales team to build category and brand narratives that earn shelf space and marketing support from buyers
  • Develop compelling sell-in materials grounded in shopper data and brand strategy, including brand decks, new items presentations, and category stories
  • Serve as the marketing voice in key account conversations, helping sales articulate Row 7's retail marketing vision


SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE

  • 3-5 years of experience in shopper marketing, customer marketing, or retail marketing in food or CPG; natural or specialty food experience strongly preferred
  • A strong understanding of the grocery retail landscape and how shoppers engage with products in a produce or perishables environment
  • Experience developing retailer marketing programs and co-marketing activations with major grocery accounts 
  • Comfort using retail media metrics to inform strategy and tell compelling stories — you don't need to be an analyst, but you know how to use data
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and measuring ROI on programs
  • A strong creative eye and the ability to brief, guide, and evaluate marketing assets — you know what good looks like on shelf
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and PowerPoint; familiarity with Instacart Ads, retailer media platforms, or digital shelf tools is a plus
  • Genuine enthusiasm for food, agriculture, and Row 7's mission

  • Retail Sales Manager position is a full-time, exempt role and reports to ROW 7’s Sales Director
  • This position follows a remote or distributed work model within the United States
  • Travel within the United States (30%).

LOCATIONS AND WORK SCHEDULE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspire and educate shoppers about the Row 7 brand and vegetable varieties, sharing key culinary and flavor details 
  • Prepare, cook, and serve tastings of Row 7 vegetables to shoppers, ensuring that the experience reflects Row 7’s culinary excellence
  • Engage with shoppers on how to prepare Row 7 vegetables at home and answer questions shoppers may have about Row 7 vegetables
  • Set up inviting product demonstration displays, utilizing Row 7 resources and  materials 
  • Collaborate with retail partners to ensure demonstration spaces are supplied and replenished with Row 7 vegetables
  • Drive brand advocacy at the store level by building trusted, lasting relationships with retail team members throughout the season
  • Adhere to culinary kit maintenance, inventory, and accountability protocols
  • Develop an understanding of and ability to share the Row 7 Culinary Team Curriculum
  • Ensure compliance with food safety best practices
  • Administrative responsibilities: make store calls ahead of demos to confirm schedule and product availability. Fill out forms regarding store calls, merchandising, and demos. Escalate any issues to the Regional Manager as needed.

  • Have a year of culinary, front of house, or agricultural experience–encouraged but not required
  • Be comfortable with knives and culinary utensils, or willing to learn with additional instruction
